BOND
Terms of Use for Bond AI

Effective Date: March 2026 • Last Updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bond AI search application ("Bond"), you agree to comply with these Internal Terms of Use, as well as our overall employee handbook and data security policies. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Bond is an internal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) tool designed to assist employees by querying our internal Microsoft Fabric databases and generating insights. Bond is powered by Azure AI services to process queries and retrieve relevant information to support internal workflows, analytics, and reporting.

3. Acceptable Use

Bond is provided strictly for authorized, internal business purposes. You agree to use Bond to:

  • Search for and retrieve internal company documentation, metrics, and approved retail data.
  • Assist with authorized business operations, drafting internal communications, and data analysis.
  • Streamline workflows within the scope of your specific job responsibilities.
4. Prohibited Conduct

When using Bond, you must not:

  • Share your access credentials or allow unauthorized personnel (including external contractors or clients) to use the system.
  • Input, search for, or attempt to extract highly sensitive personal data (e.g., social security numbers, personal financial information) unless explicitly required and authorized by your role.
  • Use the tool to attempt to bypass, disable, or test the security vulnerabilities of the application or its underlying Azure infrastructure.
  • Deliberately use "prompt injection" or other manipulative techniques to force the AI to produce unauthorized outputs, expose underlying system prompts, or bypass safety filters.
  • Copy or export bulk data from Bond for use in unauthorized external applications or unapproved personal devices.
5. Accuracy and Human Verification

While Bond is designed to provide highly accurate information based on our internal databases, AI systems can occasionally generate incomplete, out-of-context, or incorrect information (hallucinations).

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any facts, figures, or data provided by Bond before using that information in external communications, client-facing reports, or critical business decisions.

Bond is an assistant, not a replacement for human judgment and standard data validation processes.

6. Confidentiality and Retailer Data
  • Bond processes highly confidential company information, including proprietary metrics, pricing, and performance data related to our retail partners (e.g., Walmart, Target).
  • All outputs generated by Bond are considered Confidential Information.
  • You must adhere to all existing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and vendor agreements when handling insights generated by Bond.
  • Do not input external, unverified, or third-party confidential data into Bond unless authorized.
7. Revocation of Access

We reserve the right to monitor usage logs (as detailed in the Privacy Policy) and may suspend or terminate your access to the application at any time if we suspect a violation of these Terms of Use or overall company security policies.

8. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as Bond's capabilities evolve or as corporate policies change. Continued use of the application after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
